Presently were are preparing to upgrade our network from NT to 2000 (finaly), and we will be running our client apps to workstations over citrix. This will be my first real experiance with any kind of terminal serve product. Our users pc’s ofcouse will basicly be dumb terminals.
My problem however, we will still be using the pc’s we have now as our workstations. Basicly, all new servers no new workstations. All these pc’s have floppy drives, cd-rom drives, and HDD of 4gb and bigger. I am assuming that even though these pc’s are now consider dumb terminals, that they will still be vulnerable to viruses if left unprotected.
Again I am new to citrix, so a yes or no answer to virus protection, or even any good citrix input would be grately appreciated.
Thank You
