Virus Software?? What do you have?

By James Schroer ·
I'm needing a little info from everyone. Here is the situation. We have 5 servers 4 of them are running Windows 2000 and 1 NT 4.0. We are running Exchang 2000 and Terminal services with Citrix Metaframe 1.8 on top. And we have about 120 computer. We are currently running Norton Corporate Edition 7.5 Antivirus. Norton is now telling me they don't support Citrix. I would like to keep the same Virus software accross the board. So what is everybody else running on thier Citix box and how do you like it over all.

How odd....

Up until we migrated, we were running Citrix, and had Norton. Didn't appear to have any trouble. Now, however, we moved to McAfee and are running that across the board. Have you checked their website for their stand on Citrix?

Using NAVCE Also

We are using the same thing. We also a Citrix server running on an NT box. I have had to set the NAVCE to Realtime File protection and turn off the scanning part. This was on recommendation from Symantec. Supposedly v7.6 will be able to scan TS. I received the update just before Christmas and have not had an opportunity to test.
I have no real problems with NAVCE otherwise except for the fact that occassionally clients lose connection with the server and have to be reinstalled to communicate again.
