Whenever I try to open a *.dxf file with Visio 2K Enterprise the program shuts down Doc Watson says “Visio32.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows…”
A quick scan of the Doc’s arcane log shows
Exception number: c0000005 (accessviolation). After much mumbo jumbo he says
“FAULT ->0584b219 f3a5 rep movsd ds:00000002=???????? es:068456c0=00000000”.
I have had similar problems with other O2K programs as well. Please tell me it is not a problem with SR-1, since my CD includes the service pack.
MS Knowledge Base returns nothing when searching ‘Visio’ or ‘Office 2000’ and either ‘crash’ or ‘access violation’.
