I recently purchased a HP laptop with Vista 64 Bit Home Premium. I installed some of my programming and then suddenly, when I try to install anything, I get an error saying the Windows Installer is not present or improperly installed. When checking Windows installer is not running. I can find no way to tell it to run. I tried right clicking as suggested in another forum but nothing happens.
