One of my clients has a small domain and about 18 XP machines. They have one vista ultimate machine.
up until monday it worked fine. now it won’t even ping the server address but can ping printers and other machines. It can’t be added to the domain either. When i switched it too wireless (a seperate internal network connected to the main subnet) it worked fine.
it’s DHCP assigned settings are correct, the Domain DNS is the first DNS server followed by the internet DNS server. it gives an error about DNS and not being able to find a domain controller in ldap_mscds etc etc…
