I’m experiencing an odd problem with the Vista computers on my Domain. We had our Domain Controller go down last week, and we got it back up. Since then however, all of the Vista computers can no longer ping or browse the Domain Controller. When I try I get the error, “Destination host unreachable.” This is problematic because it is an SBS 2003 server with Exchange 2003 installed. Since the clients can’t ping the server, they also can’t connect to Exchange.
All of the XP computers have no problem pinging the DC, and the Vista machines can ping the other Server 2003 servers (Enterprise) just fine. The vista machines are also able to join the Domain and authenticate.
All computers are up to date with Windows updates.
Any help would be great, thanks!
