Vista download problems

I added more ram to a computer and reinstalled Windows Vist. The computer will not boot properly. Screen comes up asking to boot in safe mode, or boot normaly, how can I fix this problem

Sounds like it is booting properly to me. booting once normally should solve the problem.

If you have mismatched the new RAM, you could have problems, but you would probably receive a BIOS error.

Have you opened the BIOS

And made sure that the new RAM is properly Identified? Then when you close the BIOS have you saved the changes?

Even if you don’t think you have made any changes the system still needs to know about the new RAM installed or it will Map the old amount and cause problems with booting.

Are you sure you reinstalled vista? or is this just bad wording? I assume you tried hitting enter to get past on either screen? what happens then?
