Hi,
Just switched over to Vista from XP pro.
Had installed Vista Service Pack 1.
Have not yet installed any drivers for the mother board as the CD only contained XP drivers.
Every Time I log on, Hardware detection pops up a notification telling me that driver is needed for new hardware.
Tried to (1) install download updates from Asus and (2) asked Microsoft to search online without success.
Windows reported there was a compatibilty issue between Windows Vista and Plug and Play BIOS Extension.
Checked Device Manager under System Devices an item called “Plug and Play BIOS Extension” showed no driver is installed.
Can?t find a Vista driver for Plug and Play BIOS Extension in the Asus website.
Please suggest ways to solve this problem!
