VIsta – Empty recycle bin requires confirmation, can’t diisable

I am working with our first Vista laptop. I managed to accidentally delete the recycle bin. I restored it and jumped through the hoops to reset the empty/full icons.

Now I get a confirmation box everytime I go to empty the recycle bin. I have the “Display delete confirmation” box unchecked. Is there any way to do an empty without a confirmation?

FYI – I am testing this with document files which I assume are not under the umbrella of UAC.
