I have visited a client today who until about 3 weeks ago was running AOL 9.0VR on his Windows Vista Home Premium PC.
The AOL software suddenly stopped working, when he tries to start it a message pops up saying AOL needs to install some software to make it run and a restart is needed.
As you might guess a restart does nothing and the process is repeated.
The client has successfully loaded AOL 10.0 and it works fine but he doesn’t like it and wants 9.0VR back, I cannot install it because the same problem reoccurrs.
My question is
Has AOL 9.0 become incompatible with Vista because of a windows update or something of that nature, or is there a known fix for this problem
