Has anyone encountered any problems, or seen any articles, relating to problems with installing VISTA on anything more than 1GB RAM?
Background:
Installed: Vista Ultimate on a new tower w/2gb installed
Results: BSOD …multiple times…
Downgraded to XP Pro SP2 and had no problems installing on 2GB.
Removed 1GB and installed Ultimate OK???
What’s up with that?!?!?! I thought Vista was supposed to run best on 2GB. (in fact, doesn’t MS …recommend… 2GB and requires a minimum of 1GB?
What thoughts/ideas/experience do you have with this?
