Just got a new vista laptop (Sony). Have an old Linksys router befw11s4 V4.
Hooked it up, laptop can see the network and I can connect, but its unsecured at this point, because i cant ping the router, so i cant set it up.
Downloaded the linksys utility and couldnt do it through it either, because it doesnt see the router.?
I did manage to set it up once, and give it a network key (after reseting it five time), but than it would just loose connectivity all the time!
It works now fine, not disconnecting, but i want to secure it, WTF Am I Stupid?
