I have a user who’s Vista laptop will not load their profile. It’s a new laptop only a few months old. User was logging in fine untill this morning. This system is not part of any domain and is standalone workgroup station.
Users logs into to Vista but profile will not appear, gives them default all users desktop and start menu, etc. But under C:\Users\*(username)* it will show all the desktop files, documents.
Seems like Vista decided to redirct the user’s profile settings to somewhere else. Any thoughts or answers.
