Vista locks up when trying to print

By jfurtado ·
I'm currently working at an elderly recreation center's computer lab, and I've run into a most frustrating problem. I have seven computers hooked up to two printers (one on COM2, one on COM4), and all of the computers but one are connecting easily with setting up a local printer port (ex: \\COM4\HPOfficejet). The computers are all running Vista Home Premium

My problem is this: There's one computer that refuses to print at all with the local printer port setup (I get a generic "error" in the printer queue when trying to print to them, even a test page), and takes up to three minutes to print if the printers are set up as network printers. The latter problem being why the rest of the computers are set up with local ports.

Any ideas?

Edit: Okay, this gets stranger by the moment. I actually can print from the "Admin" account set up, but not from the "All Users" account.
