I am trying to install a presentation onto a new Dell Vostro laptop running Windows Vista Basic.
The presentation links to some avi video files which play fine on windows xp.
When you play them on the new laptop Windows Media Player only plays the sound and not the picture.
I have downloaded all available Windows updates and a vista codecs package.
No luck.
I would really appreciate any suggestions for a solution!
I don’t know if it’s relevant, but he laptop has a wide screen.
Though I suspect that is not the problem.
