Laptop is running Vista. HD is Seagate IDE 120GB and was a data drive for XP, no OS installed on it.
A computer on XP can detect the enclosure. I have the jumper settings on master. There’s sufficient power and the usb is 2.0.
Disk Management says it isn’t initialized. How do I fix this please, aside from backing up the data on an XP box. I wanted to use this hd on the Vista laptop.
