When trying to Join a new Lenovo Laptop to my windows 2000 domain, I get the following error.
The following error occurred attempting to join the domain ?mydomain?: Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password.
I am using an account with domain admin privileges, and the username and password is correct. I have other Vista laptops and desktops that can join the domain with out issue. I went to the local security Policy on one of my working Vista computers and opened the Security options under local Policies, and then went line by line on the new laptop to make sure everything was the same. If it was not the same I changed the setting to match the working computer. I also tried to create an account for the computer before I joined the domain, but that did not work either. Any help you can give me with this issue would be appreciated.
