VISTA PARTITION NOT SEEN

by roger.trigg . Updated 18 years, 7 months ago

I bought a new PC with Vista installed on a SATA drive. I partitioned the drive, A & B, with Vista and apps on A and my data from previous PC on B. I installed a second SATA hard drive, partitioned that, C & D, and installed XP and apps on C; Partition D is empty. XP Explorer can see all 4 partitions but Vista Explorer can only see partitions A & C. Vista Disk Management can see partitions B & D but reports nothing on them; ‘properties’ also reports nothing. If I throw Acronis at Vista it sees and reports correctly the contents of all 4 partitions.
Why cannot I access my data in partition C in Vista?
