I have created a shared folder on Windows XP (System is joined to Domain).
When I try to access that shared folder from XP machine, it prompts me to enter username and password (every time I try to access that share), does not matter if I am logged on as a Local user or Domain User.
But in case of Vista result is different. It prompts me only once to enter username and password, which I do not want. I want this to be like XP.Is it possible? It is creating problem for me. One solution for this is, if I Logoff and then again Login, but it is also not working every time.
Is there any cache configured which stores these credentials?
