Dear anyone
I have a specific problem with my PC and Office 2007 and also Wordpad. I once was able to use the shortcuts Ctrl+B, Ctrl+P and Ctrl+S but now, for some reason, I am unable to do so. I am running Vista Home Premium and Office 2007 I have tried the following unsuccessfully:
1. Using the Repair Office 2007 option in Programs and Features Install/Uninstall.
2. Trying to restore defaults. I even tried removing the shortcuts and trying to add them again but this also did not work. The Office Options simply would not recognize me pressing the Ctrl key and S, but it would for other keys (i.e. Ctrl and C came up with “DocCopy” or somehting like that)
3. I also tried to uninstall and reinstall my Laptop keyboard which was successfully reinstalled but still only some shortcuts work (Alt+
I have no water or sand or anything else in, or on, the keyboard and my laptop is a new (within 3 months of purchase) HP dv6519tx Multimedia Laptop. I have not had this problem up until about a week ago and I thought it would solve itself.
I have not installed anything that changes the keyboard.
How can I reset all the Vista shortcuts??!!
What do people suggest I do? I am really fed up with this problem and I don’t know who to turn to!!!! Microsoft doesn’t seem to know about the problem and neither does HP!!!!
Please can someone provide clear concise instructions for what I should do to resolve this very annoying problem.
Thanks in advance
Andrew
