Vista shutdown

i have a laptop(Vista Business) which is part of win2003 domain that will not shutdown when it is not connected to the network(LAN)it keeps saying logging off for days till i hold the power button to shut it off.

Please help...

You have a profile problem, rename the profile on the C drive, recreate a new one see if the same thing happens.

I beleive this to be a profile error, you can copy the old settings from the old profile to the new profile if this resolves your issue.

i have another profile on the laptop and the there is no problem with the shutdown issue, but the weird thing is that when i am connected to the network the computer shuts down normally, please advise if there is a way to fix this profile if possible

Problem Solved

Dear Wizard first thank you for your reply second just to inform you that the problem was solved through stopping all the non Microsoft service in msconfig then trying to run them back on one by one, till i reached the Dell Wireless Tray service which was causing the issue.
