Officialy retired windows xp today after many great years ! do a clean install of vista ultimate 64 with sp1. installed all the drivers that i needed to install . Go Under display settings and my monitor is showing up as generic! lol trust me my monitor is far from generic. I Own A Gateway FHD2401 found Here http://www.gateway.com/retail/fhd2401.php
is there anyway i can change it from saying generic to what its supposed to say. on my xp it displayed it correctly. and in xp i could go into resolutions over 2000x whatever on here i can only go to 1900×1200.
