Vista won't boot after creating system restore point

By ballin_03 ·
I attempted to create a system restore point on my Acer Aspire 3680 yesterday, having put all my notes on the computer, I figured it would be best to create the restore point in case of a crash. The computer froze while creating the restore point and had to be restarted. When I restarted the computer, it went into a "Start Windows Normally", "Repair Windows", So, I select "Repair Windows" to begin with, to see if I can correct the problem. It goes to a light blackish colour (looks like it's loading windows) and then it stops and goes back to the command prompt looking window. I'm getting extremely frusterated because this happens no matter what I try. I've tried all Safe Modes and other types of startups, ran the memory test, and it still won't work. All my information is on there, and I need it desperately. If someone could help I would be extremely greatful!
