I have a vista and xp laptop and I have set up an adhoc network between them without a router I downloaded an update from the microsoft website to allow vista to show the xp system on the network map, it worked but when I go to network from the start menu I can only see the vista laptop displayed. I have norton 360 installed on the vista laptop and norton internet security on the xp system. they both connect easily but after that I cant do any thing else. I was also wondering can you play games via an adhoc network. The vista system is just a week old and the settings have not been changed.The xp laptop cannot see the vista files that I have set to be shared or the computer
