I have been asked this question for a very long time. It goes like this – Why would one choose Visual C++ instead of Visual Basic or virse vesa.
I have used Visual C++ to design a game and I found is very interesting. I later used VB because it’sa standard programming language for the company I work for.
I find VB very easy, the only drawback is that it allows the use of undeclared variables. On the other hand, visual c++ has a compiler that checks this. There many other differences.
But really, does it matter which language we use? Both VB and Visual C++ can be used to develop games, database systems and distributed applications.
Please help. What are the “real” differences between this languages? Why can’t we just have one of them?
