Visual Studio .NET features in ASP.NET

By Ayya ·
I want to use an .aspx file as a service consumer, but do not want to use the default html code provided when we open the ASP web application, as I already have an existing html page produced by xml and xsl.
I do not have any use with the .aspx.cs file which is the source for the default html file, as I want to code the entire C# code in the .aspx file between the <script></script> tags. My question is that when I type in the C# code in the script tags, it doesnt show me the intellisense feature, nor does it highlight the keywords, i.e., I cannot use the features of the Visual Studio.NET editor. Can anyone kindly help me as to how I can code in the .aspx file(not .aspx.cs file) using C# utilizing the intellisense and other features of VS.NET?
