Vlan segment in windows 2003 server

by egil.danielsen . Updated 21 years, 2 months ago

I have a queastion about vlan and Windows server 2003.

I am working on a project where i want to use one Windows server 2003 to connect two different lans, i want these lans to be invisible for each other but i also want a share on the server that both lans have access to.
Is this possible if i use two equal nics and set up these with vlan functionality and different subnets?
Would each lan then see the other lan since they will be connected to the same server?
Is this possible if i use the same AD but different OU’s to control users and computers?

Is this solution possible?
One vlan will be using RDP to access certain software shared on a terminal server.
