VM ware Workstation Host can’t ping Virtual and Vice versa — help

hi,
I bought a new L/T. I installed VM ware Workstation on G drive on bridged. Now I can’t ping the host. I disabled the firewall in the host and tried pinging it, but have the same problem.
Can any one help please?
