Voice origination over IP

By Abiola ·
I have a cisco 2621 equipment, I want to do voice origination, I have been reviewing [Multiflex VWIC-2MFT-E1] a piece of equipment I found on the Cisco site but surprisingly, it appears cheaper than believable to me. Would anybody please give me some advice on any other piece of hardware that I may need to accomplish my task?

Voice origination over IP

The VWIC needs to plug into a separate network module which has other card needs as well. Here's the link on Cisco's web site that has the information you will need. There's a part number for a "kit" at the bottom of the page. Since you have a 2621, this would take up your one NM slot. Fine, providing you haven't used it for something else. Then you'd need to move up to at least a 3620 series router. Anyway, here's the link. Hope this helps.
