Hello. I am looking for some informations on available messengers that make possible voice chatting from linux based to other platforms. Please help. Thank you.

goto www.teamspeak.org They have a crossplatform voice chatter that is highly recommended by the linux community.

A great (free) voice chat tool is Skype. I've used it on Windows and it works great (compatible with most firewalls, conversations are encrypted). There are also versions for PocketPC and Linux. Since Skype is not a *nix only solution, it is very versatile, plus they have just released a new feature called SkypeOut that allows calling land lines or cell phones.
