I will preface my post by saying that I am strictly an amateur IT person.
The business that I work for employs a billing person that works from home. We recently bought them a new computer because their computer’s hard drive broke. After setting up a new computer, reformatting it for WinXP Pro, I’m having problems connecting it to the office network by way of VPN. It can connect by Remote Desktop, but not by VPN. I have followed the instructions in the MS database, and ones I found searching this site. None seem to help.
The host computer is running WinXP Pro sp3, with NOD32 as antivirus. The remote terminal is also WinXP Pro sp3, but is running Norton Corp 10. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
