Our company has a Citrix server which allows users to dial in from their home computers and work from the comfort of their own home. They go through 3 separate procedures in order to dial in properly:
1. Install Dial-Up Networking and create a Dial-Up icon which allows them to access the internet.
2. Install the VPN client for Novell.
3. Install the CITRIX client (ICA client).
Once the VPN client is configured and the CITRIX client is configured, they can access our network just asif they were sitting at their PC’s at work.
HOWEVER…
Some people (including myself) have upgraded our Windows 98 computers to Windows ME. And ever since then, the VPN client does not work properly. It looks like it connects and authenticates, but when you try to run the CITRIX client, nothing happens.
We have narrowed the problem down to the Novell VPN client because when you connect with the VPN client, you should be able to PING our Citrix server.
Now that we have Windows MEloaded, we cannot ping any server on our network once the VPN client is running.
There are no known tech notes on the Novell Web Site regarding this issue, and I have already tried to download the latest VPN client. No luck. Any suggestions??
