    VPN connection drops.

    Locked

    by hbock ·

I am running Windows 2000 Professional sp1 on my home PC. I setup a VPN connection to one of my remote servers and everything is fine. I set up a second VPN connection to another remote server and the VPN connection drops within about a minute. The strange part is that I can take the first VPN connection and change the ip address to the value that was in the second VPN connection and it works. It appears that only the first VPN connection icon that I created will work, that is the connection will stay up. If I create any additional VPN connections, even to the same original ip, they will drop connection within a minute.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

install sp4 – and also in both connections under tcp/ip and advanced, remove the tick from use default gateway on remote network.
