I have a cable modem LAN with 3 ME workstations here at home. I want to connect my home LAN to the Office LAN/WAN via a VPN Port on my NT server 4.0 at the office.
I have set up VPN ports on the NT server and opened a port on our checkpoint firewall to allow my static ip address at home to get through to the server. I am making the connection to the NT server and my domain id and password is being authenticated without a problem. About 45 seconds into the connection the connection is dropped. It appears from the ppplog that the connection is made via tcp/ip and I am receiving an ip address. I would be willing to email anyone the ppplog for viewing if that would help.
