VPN/Different DSL

by macwilla . Updated 24 years, 5 months ago

We have setup a VPN tunnel using a Watchguard Firebox 700 and a SOHO unit at the remote branch. We have SDSL here and ADSL at the branch. The branch is telneting into our RISC box and I’m using PCAnywhere to occasionally connect into their PC’s. The problem I’m having is slow telnet sessions from the remote branch. We did have a dedicated 56k circuit to that branch but it was costing us $1000/month. We have alot more bandwith now with the VPN tunnel but my users are complaining about the slow sessions. Are we going to have these kinds of problems with the different flavors of DSL and do we need to get SDSL at the other location? Does anyone have any experience with this problem?
