I have a VPN between 2 locations. Both running Win2k Server. One location has a T1 and the other is on DSL. Basically the VPN connection works fine and lets us runs apps as necessary. The problem is that it disconnects quite often and most of the time wont reconnect. It shows ‘connected’ as the status but you cant ping the opposite server. Reconnect is turned on and it is set for a persistant connection.
Any ideas… Im stumped. The DSL connection is kind of erratic at times so this may be part of the problem but the status showing connected is the kicker.
