VPN from 2000 to xp

I have been unable to connect from my home computer (W2K server @SP2) through a VPN connection to my WXP Pro at work. I have a Linksys router at home and can access other W2K servers through Terminal sertvices. However, when I try to connect to my XP desktop, I get a black screen and no connection. I also see an RDP error in the XP system log, but there is no other avaialble message.

I can connect ot a W2K server and from there access my XP desktop.

Previously, my XP machine was W2K Server @ SP2 and I could terminal server to it without a problem.
