I want to conect my home pc at work with VPN
My office has a lan trougth out a US Robotic router model 8000-02 that does suport VPN shearing a dsl internet conecction ok.
I follow directions from this MS url http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;314076
but I still get this error when I try to connect:
Error 800: Unable to establish connection.
On the same url I found this article:
If you use a personal firewall or a broadband router, or if there are routers or firewalls between the VPN client and the VPN server, the following ports and protocol must be enabled for PPTP on all firewalls and routers that are between the VPN client and the VPN server:

Client ports Server port Protocol
1024-65535/TCP 1723/TCP PPTP

Additionally, you must enable IP PROTOCOL 47(GRE)

Question: how do I enable IP PROTOCOL 47 (GRE).
and do I should use the client port on the router as a triger ports ?…
Im a user with no training at all everything I know is by trying diferent ways…
Thanks Carlos
