VPN Setup

I need to setup VPN connection for a remote user to connect to the Windows 2000 Server w/sp3. I installed 2nd Nic card. Assigned a live IP to one Nic card and one internal IP to the 2nd Nic card. Install and setup VPN. I cannot browse the Internet if two connections are enabled. If I disable the connection with the live IP, then I can browse the Internet. Can someone be kind enough give me suggestion to this problem? I appreciate any help. Thanks
