VPN through a Netopia router on NT Netwo

By cboehle ·
I have recently set up remote access on our network through a netopia router since we are on a DSL line. When I try to connect remotely from home I can log into the router fine, but I still cannot browse the network. I put in the IP address for our server that has the PDC on it in for my WINS config. in my TCP/IP properties, but it is still informing me that there is no domain to validate my password. If anyone could give me some advice, I would greatly appreciate it.

Usually using VPN you have a VPN server to log into first.

If you are logging straight into your domain, you may need the PDC (and it is good to add BDCs also) into your LMHOST file with the #PRE #DOM:<your domain> settings.
