I have a Windows 2003 SP2 set up as a file server and a vpn server. I have a internal lan of XP clients (IP 192.162.0.1 to 192.168.0.200), the server having the IP 192.168.0.1. The second network interface is connected to a Siemens broadband router and has a static IP provided by ISP. I an am able to establish a VPN and Remote Desktop connection from a remote XP workstation using the static IP. However, I cannot get a remote XP workstation to access shared folders on the server or run applications. I need to access shared files on my server so that I can view shared directory structures. I also need to run a VB 6/Oracle database application from a remote workstation running XP. Please help.
