VPN vs. Terminal Services

I have network of 6 servers, all but 1 is running windows 2000 server or advanced server, the other server is running win NT server. I have a need to provide remote access to certain servers, my questions what is the pros/cons of using Terminal services vs. setting up a VPN? Can anyone tell me of their prefernces and why?
