System running VISTA VPN. Set up ipv4
All on same workgroup
xp computer can connect to vista pc however cannot map any network drives and cannot be seen on the local area network.
I am a newbie but do have some tech knowledge just not sure how the vpn is supposed to work. I have opened all ports on my router and disabled all firewalls. The connecting computer is directly connected to a modem (no router).
Again, the client connects to this computer and is assigned a local ip address within the same scope.
Has anyone tried to use the vpn capability with VISTA and been successfull? I need help!
Any input would help point me in the right direction.
