Try uninstall and reinstall go in to your fire walls setting and take a look and adjust as nessary. or if nothing works install norton fire wall its a way better app. ok to uninstall go start, setting, control panel remove. then lookin c: program files, fing the macafee folder delete it. then go to the run option in start menu, run this (regedit)look in hkey current user, software find macafee folder delete it,then select, hkey local machine software, find macafee and delete it. take your time looking around in the reg, do a search for macafee after you have deleted these folders, and see if you have got them all. (reboot) before reinstall see if you can access the net with out it, and when you reinstall and you cant access the net retrace your steps and let me know if all elce fails i can send a copy though email of a better firewall with a better interface. i currently use norton internet sec 2002. (note remember the options you select when you install the firewall, so that you can retrace your steps)and are you sure that your version of fire wall is rated for your operating system? please let me know if it works and i have a few more things i can try but lets start here:) from pete
