You have not provided enough information. Are you connecting via a (firewall/proxy) or dial-up? If you are connecting via a proxy you will need to configure the proxy information under advanced settings within Netscape. The information you will need to provide will include a proxy server address and a port number. If you are connecting from behind a firewall or via dial-up you will need to make sure that your DNS information is correct within control panel - network and dial-up connections. You can also verify connectivity using the ping command from a dos prompt.

Hello Chee,

I am not to fan of Netscape, with all due respect to Netscape and you, I find it to be as good as a AOL account, if you know what I mean. But, I think that the problem might have to do with the start up folder. As administrator, go toC:\documents and Settings, open the administrator folder, programs, startup, and locate the Netscape icon or folder. Copy it and paste to the all users folder, so that Netscape can be initialized by any logon. Also, compare the program folders of administrator and all users, if you find that netscape is not there for all users, but it is for the administrator, copy and paste this folder to.

I hope it helps! If you think I can help, feel free to contact me.

Carlos

P.S. I had to forward the message to your general email, because your setup for reply address appears to be wrong.
