W2K Dual Monitor settings

I recently built a computer (AMD XP1700, 512 MB DDR Micron, ATI Radeon 8500 Dual monitor video card, FIC AD11 mobo, etc.) and every time i get my dual monitors configured, settings revert back to two single displays upon rebooting. Did not have thisproblem with W98. W2K clean installed. William
