OK, I had Windows 2ooo installed on an average PII 450 desktop unit. Converted the Hard Drive to the NTFS Filing System. Had it all setup, even had office, norton, etc. installed w/o any issues. Right about the time I think its all done, I let it run for a few hours to burn it in then I shut it down.
30 mins later i boot it up and I get the W2k partial screen that runs the scandisk, but it had a message saying that the system files were lost?????Tried start up disks, no luck.
Tried to use HD software to erase disc but doesnt work with NTFS on W2K.
If anyone knows any tricks for the NTFS filing system for windows 2000, please let me know.thanks
