W2K/Exchange Migration

I have been asked to build a new Exchange server running Exchange 2000, making that the PDC running Active Directory, and migrate our current NT4 domain to a mixed NT4 – W2K domain. All of the documentation I have found regarding migration explain taking your current NT 4 PDC, upgrading to W2K and install all necessary services on it. I do not have this option as I need to introduce a new box into the domain, make that the pdc/exhange server. Can anyone point me in the right direction on anydocumentation for this kind of migration. Your help would be greatly appreciated!
