W2k is in French ? (bloody French !)

I just bought a P111 850 and W2k is in French. I only read English and dont have time to learn French. There must be an easy way to change the OS language. I tried booting from an English version of the W2k disk and doing a ‘Repair’ and later, doingan install over the top. Now I have messages and some text boxes in english, but most of windows is in French. Failing anything else, I don’t know what to do besides a format & reinstall. Any time & data saving ideas will be appreciated.
