W2K lost logon Password

Hi All,
Help – I havn’t used my laptop in a long time…
Now I can’t remember what my logon password is. How can I fix the problem? I changed my BIOS settings to boot from the CD first and put in the W2K cd – but the ^%$@!* still starts windows without booting off the CD. What can I do???
